However this weekend promises to be a stotter.
Gilles Peterson on Friday night! (my hero) \\o/
Doing a 2½ hour set! \\o/
Spoke to the chap today who is bringing him out and he suggested we meet up this week to discuss musics and venues (I was complaining about lack of places for me to play what I want to play).
If it happens I will definitely try to wangle a meeting with Mr Peterson so I can prostate myself at his feet and say 'we are not worthy' and stuff.
Then steal his musics while he isn't looking.
Sat night will be drinkies at a new bar in town.
I am already going to start snoozing in preparation.

Your weekend sounded ace but I assume you got through the night with a touch of chemical assistance ;)

that sounds like a great weekend - and good to find a nice place to play... I'm still struggling in Edinburgh, perhaps I should play more Euro Trance...
I think I saw Gilles Peterson at Creamfields a couple of times... and maybe he did a Renaisance when I used to go to them... I don't remember much about them. Stealing music is nawty and wrong :D
yes - I was better living most of the weekend which I suppose explains getting back at 9 and thinking 'man - I really need to go out again' rather than 'man - I really need to sleep and drink something and eat and shower and change my clothes...'

DJs with a bit of humility are better than arrogant arse-holes.
Actually I don't understand your logic. If you played less you would have less gigs. Shirley.

there is no logic... was just trying to say if I played less people wouldn't know I need to practice more.

Hahahaha
Warn the venue beforehand.
I think my motto might be "great music crap mixing" just to cover myself for when I do my complete about-changes.
