P.s. does anyone know if the Annotated Pratchett File is still going?
I'd google it, but I prefer pretending you're all my minions and that I am not an ineffectual, overweight, devastatingly handsome love machine.

I looked him up because I know nothing of his work but wouldn't mind giving it a go.

as do many.
I wouldn't advise you read the first 2 discworld books first, as they are a bit odd (not really found his own funny style yet, to my mind).
A good introductuion that doesn't rely too much on previous stories would be.... hmmm...
discworld wise, Mort or Pyramids I reckon.
and Good Omens is non-discworld and EXCELLENT and kinda gives you a feeling for both Pratchett and Gaiman (who I also endorse).

So I should skip "The colour of magic" then? Will I miss exposition?
