# exactly!
how much did this cost them? I bet it has a bullshit explanation to it as well...

# i think it's quite cleverly done.
i like this kind of thing, the explanation is a bit arty and pretentious though, but it's an original way to visualise the idea within the context of a gallery space.

it's art

# I actually really like it
it looks cool, which is my main criteria for liking something, and obviously some thought has gone into it...I just think art should be more affordable...artists shouldn't be given thousands of pounds for coming up with some pretentious, bull-shitty explanation for what looks like 5 minutes work.

The only one that really pisses me off is the big blue canvas in the Tate, in Liverpool.

"An attempt to convey the artists intention without shape or form"

Its a big blue fucking canvas! You had a stupid idea, came up with a bullshit explanation and sold it for £50,000!!! You are not an Artist! You are a decorator! And since it took you 17 tries to get the right shade, you are a shitty decorator!

# wish I'd thought of it
but then I never went to an art school, so I am not an artist

I would just be "a twat with a sheet"

and £50,000

man I could use £50,000

actually maybe it's worth doing some shite and making up a bullshit explanation

maybe we could make it a contest (as it seems to be) to see who could do the least with the most meaningless drivel explanation and make money out of it

I'm all for this

/fucking piss poor skint bastard blog
