
WD-40 is a water displacer and corrosive protector, as shuch it's lubricating ability while being good, isn't really what you need.
i would suggest axle grease for you robot action needs.

i would suggest axle grease for you robot action needs.

Will perform well once heat has been built up through friction, and not cause to much resistance on the opening strokes.

Never smear your bits with Engine Lubricants. It causes cancer.
And if any lady robots are reading this, don't use KY Jelly. You may short. Use a good silicone based lubricant. And keep your fanbelt tight and well adjusted.
