i had some shyness when i was younger.later on i puzzled out that pretty much everyone is insecure or shy in some way and that the people who get what/who they want are those who abandon a good part of their shame/fear and just ask for what they want.

heartache sucks when you're mired in it.but it's pretty much mandatory as part of the maturing process.
