b3ta is so popular now that even if it were sued by someone or other for several millions of (insert appropriate currency here), a members' whip-round plus various anonymous benefactors would quickly match the amount required and keep the site running.
It's not a gamble I'd want to risk if I were Rob though, I have to confess.

I have no idea whether Rob makes a bit of a living from this site but if he does it's deserved and I feel he did the right thing by protecting it not only for himself but for us too.
It was the "unreserved apology" that made me bristle not the "OK we will stop now" bit.

my initial thought on seeing the compo's theme was that it was named after the boxer, Prince Naseem Hamed (who would indeed know folks who'd go after us all personally, I suspect!) In a way my stupidity ignorance only serves to further illustrate the arrogance of anyone who lays unique claim to the term "Prince", I suppose. Especially when threatening people living in a country which breeds the buggers.

this whole thing (all of it) I mean, wtf, threatening to sue someone because the music is playing on the background in a youtube vid? what the fuck? he's really showing what he is
seems to be some severe control issues going on
