
are you perhaps using firefox and have referrer header turned off.
or something else along those lines like norton system works or a firewall that strips your referrer header?
i think it may be that you are not presenting a referrer header and so the website thinks you are leeching the image.
referrer is my favorite word, because it sounds like a clever yet angry puppy.
