Yeah, I've seen it happen a few timesIt's really nothing that can be described well, you feel like that person will always be there, and if you lost them it would be pretty sudden, dealing with someone gradually deteriating is fucking rough, and that moment of it all hitting you that they seem like they've checked out (even for a bit) is devastating.
