hmmmm, sounds like a planalthough I'm new to the area (moved house, hence the skintness) so don't know who to give to. Maybe a bigger charitable organisation should take delivery. Only problem is I have no way of knowing if some receptionist will simply walk off with it!

Me tooalthough it might be a bit of a double edged sword - you give that to a charity and then they would have to buy loads of HD-DVDs to use on it. Why not just eBay the thing and donate the proceeds?

Do eBlag still do chariddy auctioning?'cos you can sell it on there and mark the auction as a chariddy one (which gets it some sort of special attention or something), then send a nice cheque to kittens with aids or suchlike.
If your employer subscribes to GiftAid they may even match your donation money, so the kittens get two HD-DVD players worth of money.
I'm sure if you put it on eBlag you may get a few clicks from the good people on here...
