its just the entries that are at times poor

# i think there's two ways an image challenge can go wrong
1. if there's not enough scope to do interesting stuff (the usual way it goes wrong)
2. if it's too easy just to do a quick entry without much thinking (these challenges often seem good at first, but less so after a day's flood of entries)
