# so do you have that norovirus
that, if you believe the media, has most of the UK puking up its guts?

# norovirus ?
I don't know... (btw I live in Italy near switzerland, so I have no idea un what's up with UK media).

By the way I call it flu, but si no more than a low fever with coughs, no other "standard" syntomps like feeling tired and muscolar pain.

# sounds like you don't have puke flu then.
that's fortunate. Any flu is bad though.
Stay hydrated and get some rest.

# As an
employee of NHS Direct. I can confirm this.
We took 1.1 million calls over the 11 day Christmas period which was 61% over the expected call volume... mostly due to winter vomiting virus.

# I've got a shitty cold right now
but could not claim it as anything other than man flu. My poor 87 year old gran stayed with us over Christmas and had serious gut trouble ( which is not normally the case ) resulting in night-time accidents. Twice. She was mortified. She claimed to be very ill but I just dismissed it as her being on the piss for 3 days. I felt bad when I heard about the virus.

# Puke flu is storming the US as well
I had it last month, now my sister on the other side of the country is recovering from it.

I'd rather have a cold or influenza. Few things are worse in my book than having stomach flu.
