that as soon sa I discovered X (beyond frontier ) X2 and now X3-Reunion homeworld seems a little pale.

in that I actually liked it yet have not got the skill to get past the racing mission so gave up.

I've found you need to turn just before you get to the checkpoint, slide sideways, then boost through. You cut it verrrry close, and you make it. Trust me though, it only gets harder.
