I like Julian Barratt too.The main thing that puts me off Nathan Barley is that it's shot and edited in exactly the style that the people it's satirizing would shoot and edit it. That's clever, but it ultimately means it's very annoying and hard to watch, for me at least.
He did exactly the same thing with Brass Eye and The Day Today, but they dealt with news and current affairs formats, and I found them much more watchable.
