yeah I went to a friend's (gallery) opening..

haven't been to an art gallery in ages, and now I know why. Even more worthless delusional tossers there than in the music world.

Funny thing is I'd thought our friend's stuff was a bit wanky but it turned out to be the best on show

I can sympathise deeply

Was on my bike going through Mayfair the other day. Stopped to look into a public exhibition opening that I noticed. It's fair to say I was the only one with trackies on and certainly the only one wearing a helmet. Got funny looks all night. I probably knew more about the subject that most of the suits there but was made to feel like an urchin. I took my time. :)

one thing I do like about galleries

is standing around chance objects that aren't intended as artworks, and treating them as installations..
