# That's irrelevant
yes

# no, not what i'm saying at all.
i'm saying that at your age (and please i really don't wanna sound condescending, but i'm gonna anyway) most issues are in your head, and largely related to the fact that your body is being raped by hormones. trust me, if you look back in 10 years time i've little doubt that these issues will seem miniscule compared to the shit you have to deal with once you grow up.

and besides, b3ta is not a place to discuss true feeling, unless you're talking about yiffporn. keep it to the gaz, for all our sakes eh?

# This is true. It probably doesn't help at all at the time though.
And you will, of course, disagree at the time.

# exactly, that's why i'd say don't give 'em the option. i never had it.
if i went to one of my teachers with any sort of "emotional" issues i'd have been told to get a fuckin grip, and to be honest, i think i'm better off for it.
this just seems like rewarding insecurity. bugs the fuck out o' me.

# Yeah, I've always believed in sorting out your problems yourself,
but I'm sure there are people and situations when something like this can help.

# yeah i know there are, for definite.
just feel that when you're a teen it's impossible to pin down your emotions in any way that might actually help.
they'll change every second because of all the hormones.
i think counselling can only really work if you have a reasonable idea of who you are and what drives you to do the things you do, as a teen your hormones drive most of what you do say and think, not a conducive state of mind to logical discussion of emotion.

in my opinon anyway.
