# it's not my food
it's the little dickie birdies food, i don't mind it so much although it/they will keep emptying my compost bins which is a pain, and orders is orders the rat has to go.

# i have taken precautions
i've put the traps inside the compost bins, and stuck the other one behind a sheet of board that covers up it's run from under my shed. that's the main reason i haven't and won't use poison.
the buggers managed to set off a trap last night with their bloody digging and left headache and rolo free.
