My missus recently bought a ukulele along with another b3tan, it was an ill informed impulse buy, but boy was it funny to listen to. They wouldn't even hold a tuning once you'd strummed once!
I think they're going to end up paying more for decent strings than they did for the actual instrument. Yay for plastic strings ;)
