yeah. If you can't bring yourself to throw away your lenses and get a Sony then get the best Nikon you can afford and get an AF ring adapter.

I have an old Sony that cost me the best part of £1000 and I'd be loathe to part with it because it is still superb. Would you really turn your nose up if you could buy it for £200? ( that Nikon fella told me he'd offer me more if I was selling. )

If you have decent nikon lenses already, get the most expensive nikon D body you can. Lens adapters generally suck and you lose functionality as well as them changing the focal length of the lens. I've used nikon for 15+ years and think they are excellent cameras/lenses
