they haven't been over here since '97.
Recorded output hasn't been hugely satisfying in a while but I bet they still rock balls.
Lucky.

seems quite a long time for them to not go to NZ. We don't have good enough venues for really good bands to ever come play here. xp
I would totally listen to that song right now (it's a good 'un) but I am listening to the White Stripes. And I haven't done that in forever.

Broken Boy Soldiers. It's a really good album. I mean, he's got talent. But in the White Stripes, like, well, the drummer sucks. Which is unfortunate. But they make simple happy pop tunes, so I quite like to listen to them once in a while.
Also, mofaha got me addicted to Radiohead.

I went to see them (with panic At The Disco. Shut up) and my mum asked me if Amanda was a man dressed as a woman. It made me sad.

Starts out fantastic, right up to "Big Fat Fuck" and then kinda tails off.
Although the stoner guitar solos are good to zone out with.

I hardly ever put on White Pepper, though "Even If You Don't" is incredibly catchy.

I don't think they'll ever get back to 'pure guava' levels of awesome.
