# London-based query.
I want to take my mate out somewhere spangly and glamourous this Saturday... money no object, dammit, 'cause I don't see her that often. It is imperative that there are plenty of seats as we don't want to stand up all night. Also it needs to be quiet enough to have a natter.

Where do you gorgeous people recommend?

# I have a hazy memory
of a fantastic place in central London that looks like a cafe from the outside but when you go down stairs you enter this amazing middle eastern fantasy world where everyone lounges on cushions and chats gently whilst imbibing a large variety of alcoholic refreshments. But can I remember where it is? Damnit I would love to go again.

# That would be...
...Dish Dash on Goodge St. If you ask really nicely they'll get out the hookah and the flavoured tobacco (no, not that kind ;-).

Ain't I good to ya?

# how about
Sosho Match, near moorgate, can be very nice (go early for seat)
or Form on greek street (soho square end) looks very swank but usually can get a seat earlyish
or Great Eastern Dining rooms, medecine bar, Blue or lux in hoxton area (if you want to avoid centre) are ok
