tried that
they have a cunning way of hiding gifs behind a blank page, tried all of my usual tricks and failed.

get
a screen grabber like Snagit from techsmith. You can grab whole pages or just areas in stills or in video with sound. Very easy to use and very powerful. I'd recommend it to anyone in image editing
get the 30 day trial.

edit:// once you have the avi of course you have to convert that to gif, but there are plenty of things to do that with.

Does this not infringe on copyright laws?

I can't see how a screen capture software can infringe anyone's copyright.
What the material is that you capture and what you then choose to do with it is then where you get into that dilemma.
This is mainly a better alternative to print screen and it does video with sound. It is a cheaper version of Camtasia ( which is fantastic ) for people wanting to make videos of whatever is on screen ( for tutorials and the like )

I didn't intend to sound pissy
or anything. I just didn't elaborate enough to sound fluffy. ;) I'm pinting out the genuine uses here for you. What it's really great for is when you play movies from the latest films you have downloaded you can capture parts of it to make gifs for b3ta before anyone else does. Fuck the copyright :D ( do I work for Nuts? )
