
sad thing is most of it's worth shit over here unless it's an english pressing or someone well known like bardot or gainsbourg.
well it's all worth something to the right people, but not an awful lot. but things like a uk lp of serge gainsbourgand and jane birkin is a good few hundren quid.
but i no so little about the french record market and surely some of it must be worth a lot over there.
a friend of mine ventures out there and normally comes back with stacks of great 45's with picture sleeves and european eps.
probably half the reason i have a many francoise hardly lp's as i do is their so cheap to buy (i must have about 15 now and a few eps)

We've actually discussed what to do when the morbid occurs. Basically, catalogue everything (if he hasn't already...I know he started doing it), go off to France, get quotes. While nobody has heard of Richard Anthony or Michel Sardou over here, all his records together are very desirable on the other side of the pond.
I must admit, there are a few songs here and there that I enjoy guiltily. And I certainly inherited a love of Bardot from him; both her music and aesthetic appeal...
