Clerks 2 was awful, original was great. Although perhaps that's 'cos I was young and impressionable when I first watched it and easily amused by foul language and cheap gags. Still p*ss myself every time I watch it though...

I don't get this Kevin Smith being a directer thing. He is truly awful. Nothing about any of his films recommend him as in any way talented. He sucks. And so do all his films :-P

well spotted. I didn't put a capital letter at the front of that last sentence either. That must mean I'm wrong about everything.

presented your thoughts as an opinion rather than a statement of fact or done something as difficult as write and direct 8 feature length films, with another one written and waiting to be filmed then you'd have come across as less of a cunt.

although i have a place for Jay and Silent bob.
never used to like chasing amy, but it's grown on me, clerks 2 was never going to be as good as the original, but i knew (after jersey girl) that kevin smith wouldn't put something out he didn't believe in. and the film meant a lot to him as it was the completion of a promise to mewes.
