I know ;)and I fully intended to. When I got back I told my manager I was actively looking for work elsewhere, but since then I've been offered the chance to get a qualification that would otherwise cost me quite a considerable amount- I've decided I can wait another 6 months to get that before I go. fuck 'em, they can help me get better paid and appreciated elsewhere :)
