the line-ups have been getting progressivly worse imo - last years was wank - but over the years i ended up alot more drunk and alot more mashed so the quality of the weekend was never lost :)
Festivals are well worth it tho - alot of the campsite fun is more memorable then some of the bands

It would be cool if Bamboozle had a campsite, but it was in the parking lot of the Meadowlands, which is ginormous. Some people who came from out-of-state camped in their cars, though.

cold dank smelly tents are great to wake up in - and with the morning yo get ice cold beer to quench your thirst :)

Hahahah. They check ID hardcore at a lot of festivals here, because a lot of kids my age go. Although I hate the taste of alcohol anyways. I did get beer in my hair though. Not so much refreshing.

They sell bottles of beer (plastic bottles, and they take the top) for $7.75 at Bamboozle. And water is $4.50. And people get halfway through the drink, then they throw it into the pit and hit someone (often me) with the bottle, and the drink spills everywhere. Seems like a waste to me.

The beer first thing in the morning is to stop the hangover developing.

I normally get carried away the first night, and then keep a consistent level of happy drunkenness for the rest of the weekend.
Followed by a monster hangover when I get home.
