# 'Punch your lights out, hit the pavement

That's what I call entertainment.'
I have been listening to the new MSI album on repeat. It's awesome. :D
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:10, archived)
# MSI ARE ALWAYS AWESOME
BraynDedd and SpringySunshine went to see them live and wore MSI t-shirts to the cambridge bash, and I just wanted to fuck the brains out of both of them.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:12, archived)
# Fact.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:12, archived)
# YES!
I saw them on Saturday. Jimmy Urine sang some Kylie Minogue. It was freakin' amazing. Also, I own an MSI tshirt. ^_^
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:13, archived)
# Who's this now, Ted?
do they play the lute?
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:13, archived)
# Hurdy Gurdy, in fact.
MSI stands for Malsclischhen Saldringür Internatschionalle, and they are Eastern Estonia's second most popular swing-traditional-folk band.

Or something.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:16, archived)
# Wait...
a hurdy gurdy is a real instrument??
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:16, archived)
# Damn right it is!
And it's AWESOME.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:18, archived)
# Fix your link, darling.
Hahaha ^_^

EDIT: That's awesome!! :D
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:19, archived)
# don't know what you might mean by that!
*whistles innocently*
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:20, archived)
# oh yes
it's got a creepy but great sound
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:18, archived)
# excellent
they're not these Mindlesssel Findulge NCE chaps then?
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:17, archived)
# MFN?
Nah, they're rubbish.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:19, archived)
# MSi ( Mindless self indulgance?)
I have been listening to ska as its sunny :)

Edit: and why does the guy have a redex on his face?
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:12, archived)
# Aah.
I was listening to ska yesterday, because I wanted to skank. I suck at it, but it's fun. ^_^

EDIT: I dunno. I was being an arty retard. ;]
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:14, archived)
# Skanking is easy peasy
and there are alot of girls not wearing much as the sun is out - god I love uni :)
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:16, archived)
# For ska
and girls not wearing much, go to Summer Camp Out.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:17, archived)
# that in yankland?
Im spending summer in a lab making granules and getting paid nicely for it
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:18, archived)
# Yeah.
They actually do it in Jersey. Along with Bamboozle and Warped Tour, those are the only good BIG concerts we get. Summer Camp Out is a huge outdoor concert with loads of ska bands, almost always Reel Big Fish, sometimes The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, sometimes the Toasters, etc. :]
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:22, archived)
# Woah that sounds like a good hoot
I wish there were more decent things over summer all we got that I like is reading/leeds (but thats rapidly becoming the NME festival which is gay) and slam dunk in leeds which doesnt have that great a lineup
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:24, archived)
# Yeah.
I never been to a summer concert over there. I wanted to go to reading last year or the year before. And one year I wanted to go to the V festival. I think. I am now in the process of looking for a summer job though, so I can buy my own concert tickets and merch and whatnot. x]
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:27, archived)
# I went reading 04-06
the line-ups have been getting progressivly worse imo - last years was wank - but over the years i ended up alot more drunk and alot more mashed so the quality of the weekend was never lost :)
Festivals are well worth it tho - alot of the campsite fun is more memorable then some of the bands
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:30, archived)
# Yeah.
It would be cool if Bamboozle had a campsite, but it was in the parking lot of the Meadowlands, which is ginormous. Some people who came from out-of-state camped in their cars, though.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:34, archived)
# tents FTW!!!
cold dank smelly tents are great to wake up in - and with the morning yo get ice cold beer to quench your thirst :)
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:36, archived)
# Not me.
Hahahah. They check ID hardcore at a lot of festivals here, because a lot of kids my age go. Although I hate the taste of alcohol anyways. I did get beer in my hair though. Not so much refreshing.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:38, archived)
# thats a bit shit
spose since its not a campsite you dont get people bringing in lots of crates and the such - in 06 i think i had 4 or 5 crates with me - Beer is gooooood
:D
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:40, archived)
# It makes no sense to me.
They sell bottles of beer (plastic bottles, and they take the top) for $7.75 at Bamboozle. And water is $4.50. And people get halfway through the drink, then they throw it into the pit and hit someone (often me) with the bottle, and the drink spills everywhere. Seems like a waste to me.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:54, archived)
# its probably piss in the bottle tbh
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 19:06, archived)
# No.
It was definitely beer.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 19:54, archived)
# No, no, no.
The beer first thing in the morning is to stop the hangover developing.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:39, archived)
# well to continue the constant level of drunkeness
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:41, archived)
# Exactly.
I normally get carried away the first night, and then keep a consistent level of happy drunkenness for the rest of the weekend.
Followed by a monster hangover when I get home.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:42, archived)
# Na thats for the drive back
Im pretty sure i nearly fell asleep at the wheel on the M25 - thank god it was bank hol and moving slower then a snail
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:43, archived)
# Ah, I always cram into a train to get home.
I'm pretty sure I'd crash if I had to drive home.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:46, archived)
# Did train in 04 - broken collarbone - not so fun
drove in 05 and in 06 my bro drove back Im glad I fell asleep not so witness how terrible his driving was
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:49, archived)
# gah,
wish i lived on campus again (just for that reason)

may head up tomorrow to revise, get me away from the distractions of the web

(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:17, archived)
# Really?
That makes me sad. I think that everyone should be absolutely in love wih their music collection.
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:18, archived)
# I like it,obviously!
But it's mainly mainstream,charty stuff.
Charty stuff means rock that charts not that pop shite.

(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:23, archived)
# tricky as they are all FAB
I've just tried to see which one is swimmming around my head in the background constantly but it seems to be an amalgamation of half a dozen tracks, I'm gonna have to turn it on again but it probably won't help!
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:32, archived)
# Hahahah
I know that feeling. I have had Prescription and Get It Up stuck in my head for a while, though. Hahah
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:35, archived)
# when the noises in my head go quiet
it is usually Get It Up that starts my internal cacaphony again :D
Can't play music until small child awakes :(
(, Tue 6 May 2008, 18:45, archived)
