# i think it's a fucking shame. they've both got buckets of talent, but it's been watered down by all the skag.q
it's a damn fucking shame...

# I would say Amy's got more talent than Pete.
I love her music, but as with Coltrane and every other fucker once she's off the drugs she'll turn shit.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:49, archived)
# I've only ever heard her sing that Valerie song, which is fucking awful
and I've never heard anything he's sung - he's quite bad enough without opening his mouth
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:51, archived)
# I really like her music.
What I've heard of his has been nondescript in the extreme. Three chord pseudopoetry for people who haven't heard what proper meaningful guitar based music sounds like.

Could be wrong. Don't think I am though.

# he sucks massive shitty bollocks
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:57, archived)
# :D haha

# i quite like his music, it's not quite as astounding as everyone makes out, but i think he definitely has some degree of genuine talent.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:04, archived)
# I think
Attempted Jam/Clash Emulation is a better term for doherty and his terribly original wankstain contemporaries.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:17, archived)
# You've probably listened to more than I have.
I've sort of tried to avoid it ever since I heard what I did.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:18, archived)
# what a great way to judge them.
completely ignore their musical capabilities and focus on the shit stirred up by the media, truly an impartial and well-informed statement. well done.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:53, archived)
# haha
thanks

does the fact that some people think they have some 'talent' redeem their godawful behaviour?
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:57, archived)
# nope, fair comment.
drugs are bad. it's just a damn shame that their drug abuse sells more pspers then their musical ability, which to me is far more important.
if people weren't interested in slagging off people when they fail, then maybe it would be a different story.
Yous see my point?
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:00, archived)
# indeed
there's no delight on my part seeing people spiral into that sort of situation - I don't gawp at the tabloids

although I can guess if you're a fan then it's different cos you're eventually going to miss out all the enjoyment you would have got had she not fried her mind with all this shit

(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:05, archived)
# the winehouse voice has grown on me, i rather like her
dockerty can just fuck off, the talentless little shit waste of oxygen spotty faced arsewipe.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:54, archived)
# well no, she was fucking awesome when it was just the booze,
she released her latest album, stocked up on skag and seem,s to have gone completely fucking barking.
to be honest i think it's just too late now, she's fried her brain, even if she does ever give em up, she just won't be the same....
fucking sad, it really is...
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:52, archived)
# I dont think Doherty's got any talent...
But at any rate, the people that go out of their way to buy the paper with a pete or amy story, probably dont give a shit about their music.

If their fucked up lifestyles wern't so integral to their careers these two might be able to get some help...

I feel sorry for the stupid bastards, and I hate the fuckers that get a kick out of reading about their sorry self induced spiral of destruction.

*ranting alot today... probably because hung over..*
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:53, archived)
# Yeah, because it's the people who buy the papers who are to blame.
They're not adults who are as in charge of their own destiny as you or I then?
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 15:55, archived)
# Obviously its their choice to get up to all that
Just saying how sick it is that people will pay to observe some one killing them selves.. Which is essentialy what this all is.

Im also saying that these two get publicity from this, and therefore money. So thats not going to help them if they do decide to clean up.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:00, archived)
# A homeless man on the street can get skag if he needs it.
Trust me, the money makes absolutely shit all difference.

(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:02, archived)
# No no I didnt mean that
Money in general, Doherty wouldnt be as rich and famous as he is now if it wasnt for his notoriety.

I mean Winehouses mum is racking in it with all the "Amy's Mum finaly speaks out" stories that are out every week.

I also heard a psychologist say that its possible that Winehouse now sees her role in life as a self destructing icon or somthing,

(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:11, archived)
# What piffle
as far as I'm concerned it's a bit of a case of 'fuck you parents'. *is not a psycho/chia/analyst*

She needs to grow the fuck up. The hell some kids go through, and she has life handed to her on a plate and STILL insists on pissing it up the wall.

Makes me sick.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:15, archived)
# Oh yeah
Completly agree, shes fucked it all up

But people make mistakes, thats what they do, she needs help, as do all drug addicts.

But instead what weve got is a situation where the majority of drug addicts, who are all ready in hell, get punished further, get pushed deeper into self destruction.

And this situation where alot of people are making alot of money out of some one killing them selves slowly.. all the time the general public gawping at it..

# She got help
That's what the whole rehab thing was. As did he. His rehab was paid for by a fucking charity as well, at least once.

Bollocks to the fucking pair of them. I'll listen to her music, but I'm not paying for it. It'll only go on rocks.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:24, archived)
# Fair comment
Charity paid for it? Fucking tosser... ;)
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:26, archived)
# Actually, money is *exactly* what they will need if they want to clean themselves up
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:09, archived)
# Yeah thats true
Its sick really, on the one hand people end up in this kind of thing, and are seen as evil by society, and locked up which makes it worse. On the other if your famous enough, you get sympathy etc. and you can afford the expensive clinics to get you off.

Its all foooked...
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:14, archived)
# aye
Can't spend time thinking about that now though - I'm working on a plan whereby committed life-criminals are offered the chance to commit suicide before starting their jail sentence.

Just need some people to sign up for it and I'll be all set.
(, Mon 19 May 2008, 16:21, archived)
# Haha
your a sick, sick man..
