This PR pushed my compo entry off the board. I don't want to come across as mardy but, it took me about an hour and a half to 'shop...

I'm not a rules fascist, but really did get on the reposting bandwagon in last week's compo, when the peas were coming so thick and fast that anythibng actually new got about 10 minutes on the board before disappearing into the archive. It's also one of the few areas where the FAQ is quite clear and firm, so if we're going to get a bug up our collective wotnots about anything in the FAQ, it's this IMO.

do people really care that much. I mean, people are dying in Burma, people are starving in Africa, Tibet is oppressed...is this really that big a deal?

Whenever a n00b does something 'wrong' they get b*ll*cked by everybody.
Why should established boarders be allowed to get away with it? One rule for one?..

But ffs You gotta just go with it sometimes, as it is this post has inspired others to repost some of their work, a couple of which I've not seen before and are pretty amusing.
It's not as if I've really pissed anyone off (if I have then I appologise but aren't there more important things to worry about?) and the board is still moving along nicely.

there were a lot of good reposts in this thread - and yours is good and all - although I did catch it earlier on.
I dunno - there's a lot of fuss made about the finer points of the FAQ, but for me if you're going to stick to any of it, this and NSFW are the biggies.
That's all - not having a go ;)

this place is about a good time, a laugh, and a bit of happy conversation. If the thread contains that, it is well worth it, no matter what started it.
moderation of nsfw stuff is the big one for me, but if I whine anymore than I have already I should get censored...
