I have always found

it usefull to Punish my son by placing a large
Amount of nettles in his nappy

Not having kids

I treat them all with contempt, and simply lock them away and tell them the monsters will get them if they get lippy.

I have 100% sucess with this

i do actually put monsters in the cupboard.
