isgimp easy to use? as i am not particularly techy. i currently use paint, and therefore all my images have more seams than a very seamy thing indeed.

It is fairly straight forward, reading the gimp tutes (on the site) also helps obviouslyIt can do most of the stuff photoshop can and you can often copy tutorials for photoshop and follow them in gimp.

You could try GimpShop.It's the Gimp with a PS interface (I'm told)
