I once had the dubious pleasure of trying to explain the intricacies of the term 'bollocks'
to an american friend. Apart from the physiological reference, i had to explain the difference between
"it's bollocks" = it is awful
and
"it's the bollocks" = it is great.
No wonder they got confused.
