I once had the dubious pleasure of trying to explain the intricacies of the term 'bollocks'
to an american friend. Apart from the physiological reference, i had to explain the difference between
'it's bollocks' = it is awful
and
'it's the bollocks' = it is great.
No wonder they got confused.
