No can do, I'm afraid.If it started off full-width, it'd push the right-hand image to the next line as soon as you made it a bit smaller. I think.
If you want to fuck around with it, highlight the pics only, "view selection source code" (in FF), copy and paste the source code into a new message (or a full-screen reply) and change the "width=xx%" number. (don't post it, obviously!)
