To appreciate this post, please un-maximise your browser window,
grab hold of one of the sides* and move it left and right.
Humming a jolly ditty may add to the enjoyment

*of the browser window, NOT the accordion!
edit: looks better in a reply window as it won't move up and down so much.

and oi've sat on some rocks
and I've dranked up some beer
but never have oi sawed such a sight to behold
as a cow that's on heat
and my cock in the cold.
nice work. I like this a lot, hence the song.

Make it screen size then we can hold the sides of our screens and do it.

If it started off full-width, it'd push the right-hand image to the next line as soon as you made it a bit smaller. I think.
If you want to fuck around with it, highlight the pics only, "view selection source code" (in FF), copy and paste the source code into a new message (or a full-screen reply) and change the "width=xx%" number. (don't post it, obviously!)
edit: credit to Mystery Bob for posting something a few days ago with similar image attribute shenanigans, which inspired this post.

it all makes sense now, firebugged and now I see why you settled on 30%... didn't realise there were two fixed end-bits

I've no idea how to do what your instructions suggest - or am I being conned?
I'm feeling very...

What do you do? - in simpleton terms please

grab the edge
pull it smaller, then bigger again.
It doesn't really get much simpler than how it's already explained, heheh.
Click the button just left of close on your browser, or double click the title bar.

I did that and the accordian closed but it won't do anything else?
I can't seem to "grab" the edge to make it do anything

this appears to work differently under Windows 2000 compared to XP - with XP the images resize while you are moving the window, whereas under 2000 they only move after you have let go of the edge handle.
I assume this is how 2000 does things as IE also operates the same. Apologies if you are on 2000 as the effect is not nearly so good :[ If anyone knows how to force browsers operating under win 2000 to resize while you are dragging, reply here or gaz me.
