over in Florence is the Specola (sp?) university and museum
in there they have 16thC wax anatomical models of bodies in various states of "open-ness" all very artisically done, and unbelievably realistic. If you ever get the chance to go there, I HIGHLY recommend it

It's quite boring, slow and a bbit yucky. but it's just a human body. being a scientist and a conventional type must mean I don't get as much of a hard-on about blud and guts as you do.
