it's generally downto media induced hysteria. distortion and such.
a recent study into video violence showed that there is no causal link that watch violence makes you wanna commit violence but it's just violent people have more of an affinity to watch violent things. no real news coverage coz it goes against the national hegemony. damn you hegemony!!
