Pointless DVD extra:Making the polygonal lasso sword actually took up almost all the time required to make that image.
I must have made it at least ten times with various different techniques until it finally looked right.

Well I think first I tried just drawing one with the path tool and colouring it the same - Looked shit.Then I tried cutting out the sword and warping it - Looked shit.
Many many variations of that and then eventually I had to cut up individual tiny pieces of the sword which had the right colouring and rotate and size them all into the right places.
You'd think that would be straight forward but it seemed to take fucking forever.

I find it's always the times you think "well it shouldn't take that long."is when it starts to get out of hand
