Making the polygonal lasso sword actually took up almost all the time required to make that image.
I must have made it at least ten times with various different techniques until it finally looked right.

Then I tried cutting out the sword and warping it - Looked shit.
Many many variations of that and then eventually I had to cut up individual tiny pieces of the sword which had the right colouring and rotate and size them all into the right places.
You'd think that would be straight forward but it seemed to take fucking forever.

I say 'apparantly' as the whole field fills me with a sense of skepticism and rage generally only equalled by religion and self help books.

another technique is to look at your hands while dreaming ;)

And lucid dreaming is a genuine phenomenon. I don't know if it's possible to 'make' it happen though, or if there's any link between the two.

I don't question that lucid dreaming happens, I do question that it's really very impressive though or something to bother trying to attain.

whether i was really lucid, or just dreaming that i was. then i realised that the same problem applies to being awake, and my brain gave up in rebellion

realised i was dreaming then tried to fight to stay in the dream as i woke up
and one weird one were i realised i was dreaming as i was back doing work experience at bizarre magazine about 6 months after i'd done it.. and as i realised i was dreaming it became very difficult to move as i had to force myself around relearning my footsteps... and every one into that dream gathered round and smiled at me encouragingly as i tried...
but now i look back on it i confuse my self with the question well couldn;t that of been a dream about lucid dreaming.. and that thought circle makes my head hurt.
I had one recently where i kept waking up then going back into the same dream... that was awesome google was trying to take over the world using stormtoroopers. t'was wearing your scrotum as a hat mental that one

Even when I'm somewhere obvious which I should know isn't real, I'm not thinking in dreams, things are being thought for me.
But on the upside that level of disconnection means I never get bad dreams or anxiety or anything, plus they are always fucking weird.
On the downside it sort of feels like you are watching a 1890s silent movie through greaseproof paper.

Fell into lava and vapourised, blew myself like the final scene in Leon, drowned (that was quite a weird one).
They are still all grey and fuzzy and shit though. I demand HD! With 5.1 Surround sound!
