# B3tadays all round!
And as I'm officially 2 now, it seems only right to throw out two more twos and plug the website I made for Unit 22 - the architecture unit I'm in at uni.

3958 messages and 600 links isn't that bad and I always make sure to leave a reply to a post when I can. Personally I think it's the posting that makes this site what it is rather than a one off payment. But you're right...I've benefitted from other people's feedback too so will be donating shortly.

but you may have a point. Strangely I did put one in but it doesn't seem to come up. To be honest though, I did the whole thing in two very stressful weeks of evenings so I had to draw a line somewhere and sorting out preloaders for a 2 second wait is very very far past that line.

still loads as you change the page, is the text and images on the pages loaded dynamically or is it included in the flash file? If its included do a GetBytesLoaded Preloader, just good practice.

Thing is, if you just hold your horses for a few second there shouldn't be a problem. Could be worse...I could have had Web 2.0 reflections etc Now THAT'S bad practice! ;)

PS. Is there another type of preloader that I don't know about?

i think you can donate what you like for an icon (though under £10 isn't really worth it to them).
to be fair, i hadn't donated anything by the time my 1st b3taday came round, but then i really didn't have any spare money at the time
