I don't have photoshop, so I downloaded GIMP from www.gimp.org

It's very good (although it's the only pictorial image manipulation software application program I've tried, so I have nothing to compare it to. Apart from MS Paint).

I'm also interested in Inkscape. Does anyone recommend this?
