[challenge entry] Trip to Hull anyone?

WiL would like to apologise unreservedly to whomever's lovely holiday
picture he has just defiled. But it is pretty funny...

*edit* Honestly never occurred to me anyone would SERIOUSLY see a little girl feeding ducks in just her T-shirt as sexual, but fair enough, now with added skirt!

# I've just spoken to Kevin
and he thinks that picture is absolutely disgusting!

# haha yeah I know eh
I don't give a flying fuck about content because I'm at home but bosses and prime ministers probably see things differently.

# No probs,
you walk close to the line sometimes and I didn't mean to seriously offend, but I honestly never saw the original pic as anything more than totally innocent, but I guess in retrospect it might have been too close for comfort for some in the context of this joke, eh?

*edit* Sparked quite an interesting board discussion tho!

# ?
Why the hostility? It (was) a pic of a toddler with a naked bum plus an animated nonce joke. Since when has b3ta ever shied away from taboo humour?

It wasn't like he posted something actually nasty.

# I don't think hostility is needed but that image could have worried a few people
at a glance: kids arse and that approximates porn. Far less has been mod edit previously.

other than that the image is kinda funny.

# Just a bit too close to the mark, more so just the bare arse,
yes I know that there are slightly more risque pics on here. It's something that I could do without seeing whilst at work in a school!

And yes I know what b3ta is about and perhaps I should look at it at home not work, but I like b3ta and the people on it.

Sorry if this is a bit rantish.

# I remain mystified why a pic of a toddler's bum,
in a normal holiday-snap context, of which EVERY mother in the western world has at least 20 of each of her brood... would cause consternation. I mean, mothers drag those things out whenever relos come around, even your small-mouthed, small-brained arch-catholic great-aunt! And the old dear just looks at them and smiles and says "They're so lovely when they're young!" (forgetting about the tantrums and the pooey nappies etc etc)

But yeah, as much as we try to keep things generally SFW, b3ta is really something that should not be viewed in such sensitive environments :-)

But I still don't see anything wrong with such a pic in that context :)

# I can only guess it's 'cos I took it out of that context, but, y'know, it's a duck!
They're not generally known for being a real threat in this situation, which is what *I* thought was funny.

But as I say, I bow to board opinion on this one, as I am aware I was being close to the knuckle and not being a parent or an office worker I may not be the one to judge on such matters...

# Mystery to me too, I thought it was a pretty funny defilement of an otherwise lovely innocent holiday pic
but I guess somethings gone on that means folks can only see pron in child nudity these days.

Personally I find it way more offensive when folks use real nonces, or indeed guys who have been acquitted of their accusations, but I'll bow to board opinion as it means nothing to the joke that she had a bare bum.

# I tend to agree with the sentiment in that.
but some managers are wankers and want excuses to sack people.

I don't think it's quite right to be impolite about the whole matter though.

# Fairy nuff,
not being in an office environment, I guess I'm not in tune with that.

but I do worry about my parents watching me!
