... I use ebuyer and microdirect... the last one I put together was a shuttle for my brother and it is very impressive. He runs Avid on it so it's strong too.

I'm not sure if I'm right or not but I have a preference for AMD processors, ASUS mother boards, SAMSUNG RAM and Seagate drives.

Ebuyer are doing the Athlon 64 X2 6000 for less than £80, you can get two SATA II 500G drives and raid them together, probably another £80... The ASUS crosshair AM2 is good... but pricey
