# In my observations it's curiously full of people aware of the other boards' activity
but who seldom post on them

and for the majority who dwell there behave as if it's some kind of esoteric secret society; unfortunately neglecting to realize, it's just a public forum on the internet

# An internet chat board
with in-jokes, phrases and abbreviations and a superiority complex?

# *catches monocle*
*dusts*

an apparent mythical license to be unnecessarily rude and offense to non-regulars to the extent it becomes quickly very dull and boring for the uninitiated simply out for a stroll

# I like the ones who reside on talk because they feel board has slighted them in some way in the past.
Talk gives them the perfect home to sit and complain about us.

# Plus they can have
awesome threads where someone goes "Biscuit?" and then everyone writes a reply saying what kind of biscuit that would like and it is awesome.

# yes, because that's clearly what people on talk do
and you're not at all being hypocritical by acting like /talk is out to get you, I don't know as if you've been slighted.

# Not all of them do.
I lurk on talk occasionally, and some of them do seem to have a vendetta against board.
Particularly if killerkitti posts something.

# for the most part people on talk... stay on talk
I'm aware of cliques on main board and on talk board, but that's just what they are cliques.

I'm not sure it's a vendetta as much as a casual ignorance of one another, prodigy69 hates the talkboard but he keeps it on the main board and it's fine.

I agree it's annoying when they decide to do 'board invasions' and it's usually twats that instigatge it, but it's instigated in talk as much as it is on board.

# cliques being the word
I wish people would just calm down everywhere, it's obvious on /links as well

It's not as if the grown-ups with jobs have the time to be in one

# I was talking more about the people who've posted things on board and not been hailed as the next messiah,
and thus felt that board underappreciated them. I find them entertaining, in a kind of whiny child way.
But yes, the crossposting board invasions can be vaguely annoying.
