when i was fitted for contact lens, i wasn't very good at getting them out,the optician wouldn't let me go and figure it out in peace at home, she clawed them out of my eyes with inch long fake nails.
these same contact lens later made the sharp focused vision bit of my eyes stop working for a day due to depriving oxygen to my eyes. don't think i've been so scared as when i couldn't read or even see my face in the mirror.

I once thought i still ahd my contacts in and tried to remove them, when infact I had removed them earlier in the day... THAT wasn't too funny...

were you drunk at the time?i used to wear gas permeable ones and would fall asleep with them in when drunk. this dried out my eyesand stuck tem shut the next day.

well... only a little bit :Dand yes, I've slept with teh lenses still in too... I've never done it since.
What is scary is when one lense pops out for the first time whilst you're driving...
