we used to get spiderseven the cats were scared of :( They lived behind, under and in the coal bunker. they used to come in shovelled in buckets of coal and it didn't kill them. they were hard as fuck and mean. they'd just look at you as if to say 'yeah?'. if they dropped to the floor from the ceiling you heard them land...

when you cut the grass in the summer here(not where we used to get the huge spiders) thousands of big black spiders run up out of the grass up the fence and the walls... *shudder*
