Someone told me
That if you squash a spider, its spider friends come along and carry it away. Is this true?

we used to get spiders
even the cats were scared of :( They lived behind, under and in the coal bunker. they used to come in shovelled in buckets of coal and it didn't kill them. they were hard as fuck and mean. they'd just look at you as if to say "yeah?". if they dropped to the floor from the ceiling you heard them land...

My back gardens like temple of the spiders
They all come into the house in October. If you catch em in a glass they leap at your hands! Bloody scary...

when you cut the grass in the summer here
(not where we used to get the huge spiders) thousands of big black spiders run up out of the grass up the fence and the walls... *shudder*

Exactly
you need some sort of reptile to catch a marmot... Avians just don't cut it... I recommend a Gecko... they're not as rough going down
