how are you redirecting images?I'd like to move some pics to another directory is there a way to do it so i don't have to copy everything?

it's a bizarre combination of a custom 404 set in a htaccess file...which is actually a php file that reads through a text redirect file... so if the requested url matches it sends a redirect else it sends a 404...
set up so that i can move b3ta pics around into different folders (and different web servers) without having a major link maintenance issue...
