it's mathematically modeling the physical response of bits of the brain to stimulus.so you make some assumptions, you cook up an equation, you solve it and hope it makes sense...

yep.Thesis handed in (prof has whispered that I have a magna cum laude (pfft)) and my viva is at the end of november.
However, I'm not interested in psychology as it is often inappropriately generalised. I'm studying face and voice perception and how the two perceptual channels integrate to improve person perception.
