As far as I can see iteven if it's all a sham, all this 'stop driving everywhere etc because of global warming', it's not a bad idea. Petrol's expensive and sharing lifts/using public transport makes good financial sense. If people don't want to make changes in their life for the alleged benefit of the planet and it's x-billion inhabitants, at least do it for the sake of your own wallet.
