couldn't you use rasterbation**or whatever that web service was that split an image up into A4 sized chunks

that wouldn't be suitable for textas it makes it into blobs.
I am aware of rasterbator and have printed my panorama on very high gloss photographic film, but you can see the joins between some of the sheets, so I'd rather get it done properly.
